Bill 234 (Draft 2): Amends Chapter 14, Article 14, Division 3, Section 14-86 of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Street Names. Allows for two
streets in the same judicial district but with different zip codes to share the same name.
AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Eoff, Ilagan, Onishi, Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and
Chair Kanuha — 9; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; EXCUSED: None.
Bill 241: Renumbers Chapter 26 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as Amended),
Relating to the Hawaii State Fire Code, Repeals Chapter 14, Article 5, and Adds an Amended
Version of this Article, Relating to Fireworks, into Chapter 26. Updates the fireworks section of
the County Code to be consistent with the Hawaii Revised Statutes. AYES: Council Members
Chung, David, Eoff, Ilagan, Onishi, Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha — 9; NOES:
None; ABSENT: None; EXCUSED: None.
