SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
WAIANUENUE AVENUE — UPDATE PARKING PROHIBITED DURING
CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS; TOW-AWAY ZONE AREAS
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5. Parking,
Section 24-281, Schedule 29. Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets;
tow-away zone under (c) South Hilo be amended by deleting existing items (22), (25),
(26), and (27) and renumbering as required:

Traffic Code Amendments —Waianuenue Avenue cont'd
The intent of these amendments is to update Section 24-281 of the Hawaii County
Code. This update would include deleting any "Parking prohibited during certain hours
on certain streets; tow-away zone" areas that are no longer applicable or overlap the
two "No stopping, standing or parking" areas being created along Waianuenue Avenue.
