SUBJECT: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 14, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005
Edition, as Amended), by Adding a New Article to Decrease Public Exposure
to Toxic Herbicides.
Please find attached Bill No. 245, Draft 2. Bill No. 245 was amended by the contents of
Communication No. 1075.2, as duly approved by the Environmental Management
Committee during its reconvened meeting on November 1, 2016.
Pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 2-207 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as
amended), Bill No. 245, Draft 2, was referred to the Director of Environmental Management
and the Environmental Management Commission for their comments and recommendations.
