RESOLUTION NO. 729 16
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL'S HEARTFELT
GRATITUDE TO COUNCIL MEMBER GREGGOR ILAGAN FOR HIS YEARS OF
DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, Council Member Greggor Ilagan represented Council District 4 in the
2012-2014 and 2014-2016 council teiins; and
WHEREAS, during the past four years, Council Member Greggor Ilagan has served as
Vice Chair of the Committee on Finance (2012-2014), Vice Chair of the Committee on
Governmental Relations and Economic Development (2012-2014), Chair of the Committee on
Planning (2014-2016), and Vice Chair of the Committee on Public Safety and Mass Transit
(2014-2016); and
WHEREAS, Council Member Greggor Ilagan has admirably took on additional
leadership roles as a legislator by serving as an alternate representative to the Executive
Committee of the Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC) and Chair of the Hawai`i
County Housing Agency; and
WHEREAS, Council Member Greggor Ilagan has consistently demonstrated unwavering
dedication, strong leadership, and outstanding public service to the residents of Hawaii Island,
especially to his constituents in Council District 4; and
WHEREAS, Council Member Greggor Ilagan will complete his term of office at noon
on Monday. December 5, 2016, having compiled an exemplary attendance and voting record for
all Council and Committee meetings held during his years in office; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it
hereby extends its sincerest gratitude to Council Member Greggor Ilagan for his years of service
to the County of Hawaii and offers its best wishes for his continued health, success, happiness,
and good fortune in his personal and professional life.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to Council Member Greggor Ilagan.
