Re: Bill No. 254, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Chapter 2, Article 3 of the
Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 edition, as amended), by Adding a New Section
Relating to Appointment of Personnel to the Office of the Corporation Counsel.
Attached is Bill No. 254, Draft 2. Bill No. 254 was amended by the contents of Communication
No. 1142.3 on November 16, 2016, by the Council.
To allow approval on final reading after amendment, the Council voted to suspend Rule No. 24-1
of the Council's Rules of Procedure and Organization.
