Re: Bill No. 257, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Section 25-8-26 (Pahoa Zone
Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983
(2005 Edition), by Changing the District Classification From Single Family
Residential— 10,000 Square Feet (RS-10) to Village Commercial— 10,000 Square
Feet (CV-10) at Waiakahiula, Puna, Hawaii, Covered by Tax Map Key: 1-5-
002:027 and 1-5-114:020 (Portion).
Attached is Bill No. 257, Draft 2. Bill No. 257 was amended by the contents of Communication
No. 1153.1 on November 15, 2016, by the Planning Committee.
When Your Committee amended Bill No. 257, it also incorporated a change, which was not
identified in Ramseyer format in Communication No. 1153.1, to the third sentence of Condition
M in SECTION 2 of the bill. This sentence was amended to read as follows: "The fair share
contribution for each [lot] unit shall be based on the actual number of residential units
developed."
