Here are some worrisome Facebook posts. Resident 1: People are already reporting: heavy headache, extreme tiredness, burning eyes, nose, throwing up Civil Defense: We have not received phone calls reporting symptoms like this throughout this evening. Please encourage your contacts to call 933-0031. Mahalo. Resident 1: It is your job to know if people are sick, not mine. You are completely out of touch with community.Notice of PGV release has been spread through Facebook and word of mouth Resident 2: So exactly what was that smell when the H2S samplers read zero? I was on Pohoiki road at 4pm and the smell was horrible like an oil refinery but the jerome you gave me read zero H2S so what was it? Many people smelled it and more than a few reported health impacts? If you do not know what they were exposed to why don't you have a doctor talk to them? I met Mike K from PGV on Pohoiki rd at 5pm. He told me he could smell it and he had 2 women with him. Mike told me they smelled something as well. I took reading at that time again and there was no H2S, it was something else. Mike told me he talked with HFD on scene and they said they smelled it also on Hinalo but got zero H2S. HCCD posted their response to PGV's venting on their face book page but then deleted the entire thing rather than answer the questions. mahalo, Cory Harden, Hilo VI z, .. c. c : Wim. hT . -zC)„ fief.
