COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />1s 16 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE A KILN FOR THE SENIOR <br />CITIZENS CERAMIC CLASS AT THE NA`ALEHU COMMUNITY CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation serves older adults in recreation, <br />educational, health-related and cultural classes, such as the Senior Citizens Ceramics Class <br />operating out of the Na`alehu Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, has <br />identified the need for funds to assist with the purchase of a new kiln with the necessary <br />attachments for the Na`alehu Senior Citizens Ceramic Class, located at the Na`alehu Community <br />Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, is <br />wishing to replace the 20 plus year old kiln, which has been repaired several times at the <br />Na`alehu Community Center; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, to assist with the purchase of a new kiln with <br />the necessary attachments for the Na`alehu Community Center. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Council hereby transfers/appropriates <br />the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $4,528 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $4,528 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5519.96 Department of Parks and Recreation $4,528 <br />EAD Special Program Eqpt. <br />480 Misc.
