Dear Sir and Mmes,
My name is Yasmin Vatter and I live in Kailua Kona. Though I am not able to
attend the meeting in person, I want to make certain that my voice is heard.
I support the passage of Resolution #707 16 because the tethering and chaining
of dogs is cruel and it is long past due that this practice is outlawed in the County
and State of Hawaii.
Far too many dogs live lives of desperation at the end of a rope or chain.
This is clearly inhumane treatment and I would hope that you agree.
Please, pass this measure and end this practice once and for all.
