COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />23 17 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE HAWAII ISLE POLICE ACTIVITIES <br />LEAGUE BOXING PROGRAM IN WEST HAWAII. <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Isle Police Activities League ("HI -PAL") is a community <br />youth program under the Hawaii County Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, HI -PAL provides social and athletic activities for the youth of Hawaii <br />Island; and <br />WHEREAS, HI -PAL believes that reviving its boxing program in West Hawaii will <br />expand and enhance its mission to cultivate and improve the moral and civic standards of our <br />youth; and <br />WHEREAS, HI -PAL is requesting funds to assist with expenses for boxing head gear, <br />certified boxing gloves, equipment hauling costs, supplies, and other expenses associated with <br />the HI -PAL boxing program in West Hawaii; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br />to assist with expenses relating to the HI -PAL boxing program in West Hawaii. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC - Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.201.5215.62 Police Department <br />HIPAL OCE <br />235 Misc.
