RESOLUTION NO. 26 17
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE HONOMU COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS
CELEBRATION.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, has
identified the need for funds to provide a Christmas celebration for the Honomu community to
be held at Honomu Park; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i believes that providing the community a place to
come together to celebrate Christmas will foster a sense of goodwill and provide companionship
for those in need during this holiday season; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, for miscellaneous expenses associated with a
Christmas celebration for the Honomu community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Council hereby transfers/appropriates
the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000

(Honomu Community Christmas Celebration)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
