These federally-derived funds of$200,000 will be used to purchase specialized equipment to enhance the capability of state and county agencies to prevent and respond to incidents of terrorism and other hazards. $400,000 has already been appropriated for this grant. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these additional funds into the Department's State Homeland Security Program FY16 account, and bringing the total grant appropriation to $600,000..
