Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mae Satsuko Ikeda to the Hawai'i County Pension Board. Ms.
Ikeda is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She previously retired after serving 34 years with the
County of Hawai'i as the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Ms. Ikeda attended Waimea Elementary and Intermediate School. She is a graduate of
Honokaa High School, the University of Hawai'i, and Hawai'i Community College, Ms. Ikeda
possesses a Certificate in Secretarial Science. She states that she is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, Ms. Ikeda will serve a term ending on December 31, 2021.
