Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Jerry Hamamoto of Council District 3 to the County of
Hawaii Pension Board. Mr. Hamamoto is a life-long resident of Hawaii. He retired as
the Accountant IV for the County of Hawaii Department of Finance in March 2009. He
previously served on the Pension Board from 2010-2014.
Mr. Hamamoto states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he
will serve a term ending December 31, 2021.
