This appointment was effective at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 5, 2016. For the past 17 years, Mr. Tomei was the Branch Manager and Loan Officer at Territorial Savings Bank. He has held responsible financial positions throughout his career beginning in 1984. Mr. Tomei received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawai'i, Manoa Campus; Business College. His resume is attached for your information. Mr. Tomei will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 7, 2020. Pursuant to Rule 5(6)(g) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai'i, we respectfully request a waiver of this nomination through committee so that it may be considered by the full County Council on January 5, 2017.
