Request for Executive Session
Dear Chairperson Arakaki:
The Office of the Corporation Counsel would like to request that this matter be placed on the
County Council's agenda for May 5, 1999, under Executive Session. The purpose for requesting
Executive Session is to discuss the status of this case, the County's strategy in pursuing this case
and an update on the Plaintiffs' most recent settlement demand.
As you know, Mr. David Minkin, Esq., from Honolulu is counsel of record in this matter for the
County of Hawaii. He will be flying over to discuss these matters with you. We would
appreciate every courtesy you can extend to him in scheduling a specific time for him to appear
before the Council in Executive Session.

have any questions or concerns.
