oJrty os!!! •.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - •_�`"�' !�•- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •�Of•Nf' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 42 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE HAWAII ISLE POLICE ACTIVITIES <br /> LEAGUE LONG-DISTANCE CANOE REGATTA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Isle Police Activities League ("HI-PAL") is a community <br /> youth program under the Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, HI-PAL activities are provided and designed to help youth make healthy <br /> and legal choices; and <br /> WHEREAS, HI-PAL is organizing an inaugural long-distance canoe regatta in Hilo Bay <br /> in spring 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting funds to assist with expenses relating <br /> to the long-distance canoe regatta, including, but not limited to, food, refreshments, and the <br /> contracting of escort boats for the safety of the participants; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br /> to assist with expenses related to the HI-PAL long-distance canoe regatta in spring 2017. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5215.62 Police Department $2,000 <br /> HIPAL OCE <br /> 235 Misc.
