Re: January 4, 2016 Confirmation Hearing, Joseph Kamelamela, as the
Corporation Counsel
It's my pleasure to recommend Joe Kamelamela for Department Head for the
Corporation Counsel.
I have known Joe since 2002 when I was hired by the County. I met him when I
assisted the Corp Counsel with their various computer issues. I have worked
closely with him since that time and have first-hand knowledge of his work ethic,
interactions with people and sound judgment in his daily contact with staff and
clients. He is always smiling and willing to listen.
I also saw how he successfully handled difficult situations and challenges in
serving the County and the public. His resolutions of challenging situations were
always thoughtful, thorough and fair.
I believe he has all the qualities and experience to be an excellent Department
Head. I highly endorse him for Department head of the Corporation Counsel.
