Corporate Counsel of Hawaii County, head civil attorney.
My husband, Ronald and I have lived in Hilo since 1999. We live in the Waikea Uka
neighborhood where we enjoy the fresh air and privacy that the Big Island is still able to proVode. ;---'
We have known Joe personally for three years while I have been honored to learn the hula,
Hawaiian customs, and ways through Joe's wife, Pua.
Joe has been an ever present support to us. He attends the painas, sings, and shares his mana'o at
a very deep level of understanding of the meaning of the songs and, in the broader realm, of life.
Joe is a very thoughtful man. He listens, asks questions, and remains calm. In the end, he is a
problem solver.
