No. 38 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 12:12 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 38, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 38, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim dated December 13, 2016, nominates <br /> Mr. Jerry Hamamoto of Council District 3 to the Hawai`i County Pension Board. <br /> Mr. Hamamoto was introduced by Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, and <br /> requested Council's favorable action of this appointment. Ms. Bautista stated that if <br /> Mr. Hamamoto is confirmed, he will fill a term that will expire on December 31, 2021, and that <br /> he is not affiliated with any political party. <br /> Nominee Hamamoto was present and expressed that it would be an honor to serve on the Pension <br /> Board.
