RE: APPEAL OF RESULTS OF POLICE PROMOTION TRIAL
Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
I am writing to request that you appeal the results of the recent police promotion trial as
none of the alleged offenses occurred under the current leadership of the Police
Department, the amounts of the awards were questionably high, and there are
questions as to whether relevant evidence crucial to the defense's case was not allowed
to be shared with the jury.
You are in a position to help support an appeal which would hopefully bring final
resolution to the concerns we as voters and taxpayers in the County have concerning
this case. May I ask that you please fund an appeal of this case.
