ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII GENERAL PLAN,
ORDINANCE NO. 439, BY DELETING FROM THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE
PATTERN ALLOCATION MAP, THE "RESORT, MEDIUM AND LOW DENSITY URBAN
DEVELOPMENT" DESIGNATIONS AND INSERTING AN "OPEN" DESIGNATION AT
HONAUNAU-KE'EI AREA, MAKAI OF THE EXISTING PU'UHONUA ROAD,
HONAUNAU-KE'EI, SOUTH KONA, HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,
STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The County of Hawaii General Plan,
Ordinance No. 439, is hereby amended by deleting from the General
Plan Land Use Pattern Allocation Map, the "Resort, Medium and Low
Density Urban Development" designations and inserting an "Open"
designation at Honaunau-Ke ' ei area, makai of the existing Pu'uhonua
Road, Honaunau-Ke' ei, South Kona, Hawaii.
SECTION 2. Severability. If any provision of this
ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances
is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions
or applications of the ordinance, and to this end the provisions
of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
