The following are the recommendations of the Committee of. the
Whole considered at its meetings of April 6 and April 13 , 1977:
REFERRALS
Comm. 249 : REQUEST FOR FUNDS - HILO INTERIM HOME
From Charles Gillies, Jr. , Lieutenant, The Salvation
Army dated March 14, 1977.
Refer to PSC Chairman to draft a
Resolution in support of HB 484
and SB 535 , which provide for
continuation of funding_the Hilo
Interim Home program.
A— Rec. 1: Authorize Council Chairman Tajiri to attend the 12th
.-0u7 Tokyo International Trade Fair and the Nagoya Flower
Show from April 17 to May 1 , 1977.
Rec. 2: Request the Council Chairman, Vice Chairman and PWC
<LnG'y Chairman attend the closing session of the Legislature
to express the Council ' s thanks and appreciation.
Res. 27: KEAHOLE AIRPORT
Urges State of Hawaii to take steps as soon as
possible to extend the runway to Keahole Airport to
accommodate aircrafts for overseas service.
