The following are the recommendations of the Committee of
the Whole considered at its meeting of April 27, 1977:
REFERRALS :
Res. 82 : HAWAII GEOTHERMAL PROJECT
Supports the efforts of the Hawaii Geothermal Project,
provided that the efforts are being made in full
compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws , or
adequate safeguards are implemented to protect the
health and safety of the people of the area.

Approve and recommend' adoption of
Resolution 82.
Comm. 288: UNION AGREEMENT
From Mayor Matayoshi dated April 22 , 1977, informing
agreement was reached on April 13 by the employers and
unions representing Units 1, 2, 3 , 4, 9 , 10 and 13 on
wages and cost items; informs of terms of the settlement;
and submits for approval the cost item involving wages.
Refer to Finance Committee for
review and consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
No. 1 : - Approve proposed departmental budget review schedule
and refer to Legislative Auditor to coordinate with
the administration.
