The following are the recommendations of the Planning,
Economic Development and Legislative Committee which were
considered at its meeting of December 9, 1969:
COMMUNICATIONS

Re : 'C-198.2/PEDLC-17 0-198.1/PEDLC-10)
• Submits a copy 'of the letter from the Prosecuting
Attorney in which he agrees that the tentative draft,
Section 1107 of the Penal Law Revision Project of the
Judicial Council of Hawaii should be sponsored and
supported for legislation:
Recommends that the Corporation
Counsel prepare a resolution in
support of this to be presented
to the Legislature. (ARS c- /96.Lyn EPAc.
42'1- C°' No. 635: John Hoag, President, Big Island Housing Foundation
Solicits the Council' s approval of their recommended
site (corner of Kinoole and Hualalai Streets) for a
project of high density units for low and middle •
income people. If the Governor is unable to help
in relocating the Board of Water Supply, he hopes the
County will put up the necessary funds for accomplishing
this move as its contribution to the housing crisis:
Refer communication to the
Department of Water Supply
indicating the Council ' s con-
cern on housing and request that
the Department make suggestions
should they be inclined to release
this land for the housing project.
