The following are the recommendations of the Planning, Economic
Development and Legislative Committee which were considered at its
meeting of October 14, 1971:
/L--COMM. 1424.2: COUNTY'S LOBBYING PROCEDURES (Re: M-253)
From PEDL Committee Chairman dated October 8, 1971,
recommending that the lobbying procedure remain
status quo and to incorporate the suggestions
offered by the Corporation Counsel in his letter
dated June 16, 1971. Requests concurrence of the
recommendation:
Concur with the recommendation.
COMM. 1641: SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM (`Rec. 1/PEDLC-59)
From Dr. Walter E. Batchelder, District Health Officer,
dated September 29, 1971, submitting information on the
Department of Health' s requirements on toilets:

From Planning Commission Chairman, dated September 30,
1971, submitting for adoption, Bill No. 826, to change
the district classification from Resort-Hotel -
1,250 sq. ft. zone (V-1.25) to Single-Family
Residential - 7,500 sq. ft. zone (RS-7.5) in Kahaluu,
North Kona:
Approve and recommend passage
of Bill 826 on first reading.

From Councilman Yamada dated October 12, 1971, transmitting
for disposition, a notice of tariff changes that he
received from the Public Utilities Commission:
