Development and Legislative Committee which were considered at its
meeting of May 11, 1972:

From the Committee on Sister City Relationships dated
May 1, 1972, submitting for approval its report on
sister city relationships.
Approve the report.
No. 1695.3: REPORT NO. 7 - NEW YORK WORLD TRADE CENTER
From Andrew Gerakas dated May 1, 1972, enclosing the
monthly report of the State - County New York World
Trade Center representative for the month of March, 1972.
Receive and file.
No. 1885.3: H. R. 7661 - PAPAYA IMPORT
From United States Senator Daniel K. Inouye dated
April 24, 1972, acknowledging receipt of Resolution 486
and submits a copy of Senate Bill 3508, along with the
statement he made upon its introduction, on April 19,
1972. Assures that he will keep the Council -advised of
further development on this bill.
1885.4: From United States Senator Hiram L. Fong dated April 25,
1972, acknowledging receipt of Resolution 486. Informs
that he is co-sponsor of S. B. 3508 introduced by
Senator Inouye on April 19.

PUAA 2nd, NORTH KONA (TMK: 7-5-09: 56)
From Planning Commission dated May 3, 1972 submitting
for adoption Bill 874 to change the district classifica-
tion for approximately 1.286 acres of land situated in
Puaa 2nd, North Kona, from a Single-Family Residential
(RS-15) zoned district to a Multiple-Family Residential
(RM-1.25) zoned district.
Approve and recommend adoption
of Bill 874 on first reading.
s-No. 1944: PEDAL BOAT OPERATION
From Virgil H. Koehne, Captain, Hilo Bay Water Sports,
dated May 3, 1972, requesting support and endorsement
for the State Department of Land and Natural Resources
to allow his pedal boat operation within the Wailoa
State Park.
Support and endorse the proposal

within Wailoa State Park.
