No. 2154: KOHALA HIGH SCHOOL - "YOUTH IN AGRICULTURE PROGRAM"

soliciting written support of their school' s "Youth
in Agriculture Program" under the OEO:
Receive and file, and recommend
adoption of Resolution 570 endorsing
Kohala High School' s proposed "Youth
in Agriculture Program" and requesting
the release of $20,000 from the OEO
to fund this program.
RECOMMENDATIONS
No. 1: KONA THREE QUARTER SYSTEM
Request the Corporation Counsel to prepare a
resolution to inform the Governor and the Department
of Education that the Hawaii County Council is in
sympathy with the students , teachers and parents of
Konawaena School and request the DOE to consider

No. 2: MONITORING OF FEDERAL LEGISLATION
Request the administration to provide a report to
the Council on how a better job of monitoring Federal
legislation that affects this County can be
accomplished.

Re Monitoring of Federal Legislation
At its meeting held today the County Council requested
that the administration provide a report to the Council
on how a better job of monitoring Federal legislation that
affects this County can be accomplished.
