The following is the recommendation of the Recreation Committee
which was considered at its meeting of February 28, 1973:
COMMUNICATION
vNo. 143: PANAEWA RACE TRACK
From Parks & Recreation Director dated February 14,
1973, informing that additional stables will
definitely be needed but because of funding limitations
the number of stables had to be held down to 38 in the
first phase of the project. Prefers that the construction
of the additional stables be considered as part of a new
project rather than an addition to the present project as
this would only cause another delay in the completion
of the facility.
