RECREATION COMMITTEE REPORT NO. 22 Hawaii County Council Hilo,Hawaii The following are the recommendations of the Recreation Committee which were considered at its meeting of March 12, 1974: COMMUNICATIONS No. 702 : RULES RELATING TO THE PANAEWA EQUESTRIAN CENTER • From Robert T. Fukuda, Parks & Recreation Director, dated February 25, 1974, transmitting for approval Rule 3 — Rules Relating to the Panaewa Equestrian Center, in accordance with the County Charter and the Administrative Procedures Act : Recommend approval of the rules relating to the Panaewa Equestrian Center. 4e4. L- No . 713 : RETRIEVAL OF FOUL BALLS - FRANCIS F. C . WONG GRANDSTAND From Robert T. Fukuda, Parks & Recreation Director, dated February 25, 1974, recommending the appropriation of $2,000 to purchase three batting cages to minimize the problem during practice sessions. Informs that they will be meeting with the grandstand architect, Mr. Richard Matsunaga, to seek a solution to problems occurring during the actual game and will keep the Council informed of their investigation: Accept recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Director to purchase the batting cages and request the Director of Finance to set up the funds.
