Fukuda, Parks & Recreation Director, dated May 17, 1974, transmitting for information the final Environmental Impact Statement for the Kona Golf Course: Receive and file. ,gef_c_No. 802: HONOLII BEACH PARK ADDITION From Hale Ola Company dated April 19, 1974, requesting the Council to reconsider the acquisition of a parcel of land (14 acres) in Honolii gulch as an addition to the now existing Honolii Beach Park: Receive and file; and inform writer that the County is not in a position to acquire the property at the present time. No. $10: KEAUKAHA BEACH PARK & PANAEWA PARK From Robert T. Fukuda, Parks & Recreation Director, dated April 30, 1974, requesting Council authorization to pursue and secure a license from the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands which would enable the County to develop and/or maintain recreational areas presently under HHC jurisdiction: Approve request . No. 73 2 Date: JUN 5 1974._, All III RC-24 - 2 - May 2$, 1974 ,fin, , Comm. $23 : RELOCATION OF THE SUMO RING & SHELTER TO WAIAKEA RECREATION CENTER From James Kudo, President, and Jitsuo Niwao, Secretary, Big Island Budo Association, dated April 17, 1974, requesting on behalf of the Sumo Association to relocate the sumo ring and shelter from the Liliuokalani Park to the Waiakea Recreation Center because of the inconvenience at the present location. Informs that they are willing to supply the labor to construct the ring and shelter, provided the County will supply the material. Additional area will be required to install bleachers during tournaments : Approve request and refer to the administration for implementation.
