" No. 1019 : PETITION OF ALOHA AIRLINES FOR CONTINUATION OF SUSPENSION
OF SERVICE AT KAMUELA
From Council Chairman Robert M. Yamada dated October 8,
• 1974, submitting for appropriate disposition a petition
of Aloha Airlines, Inc. , for continuation of suspension
of service at Kamuela Hawaii, before the Civil
Aeronautics Board.
Support Aloha Airlines, Inc. , in
its petition to the Civil Aeronautics
Board, for continuation of suspension
of service at Kamuela, Hawaii.

/No. 1022 : HILO COLLEGE SUNDAY FESTIVAL .
From Council Chairman Robert M. Yamada dated October 11,
1974, referring for appropriate action the request
• made by Brian De Lima, President of the Associated
• Students of the University of Hawaii Hilo College, that
authorization be given the County transit department to
provide bus• transportation on November 24, 1974,
2 throughout the County so that those who want to attend

RECOMMENDATIONS
No. 1 : ESTABLISHMENT OF BUS STOPS IN NEW' SUBDIVISIONS
Request the Planning Director and the Corporation Counsel
to study the advisability of requiring that bus stops be
established in all new subdivisions before acceptance of
same by the county and if feasible request that an
ordinance be so prepared. (Farias/Hisaoka)
No. 2 : SPENCER PARK IMPROVEMENTS
Authorize the Parks and Recreation Department to bid

advertise for improvements to Samuel Spencer Park.
