The following are the recommendations of the Recreation and Transportation
Committee which were considered .at its meeting of October 1 , 1975 :
COMMUNICATIONS
'No. 38. 5 : KAUMANA PARK
From Mayor Matayoshi dated September 25, 1975 , informing
that the administration met with Mr. Y. S . Chang,
Mrs. Beverly Papalimu and Mr. Don Baker, President of the
Upper Central Kaumana Kumiai , on Wednesday, September 24
at which time Mr. Chang announced that he would donate his
five-acre parcel for public use. Having received this
official offer, informs that they can proceed with the
drawing up of the proper documents for Council action.

from Mr. Christopher Cobb, Chairman of the Board, Department
of Land and Natural Resources regarding the County' s

certificates. This amendment was discussed and approved
by the County Transportation Commission at its meeting of
September 4, 1975 .

requesting concurrence and acceptance of the proposal for
lease extension and expansion of the Naalehu Community Park
by C. Brewer & Company, Ltd. to expedite the implementation
of site developments and utilization.

From Mayor Matayoshi dated September 24, 1975 , informing

of bus stops on the Pahoa Highway will be referred to the
new transit authority recently authorized and when its
programs are developed, a progress report will be rendered.
