The following are the recommendations of the Public Works
Committee which were considered at its meeting of July 11, 1973:
COMMUNICATIONS
No. 364: IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 9
CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLINE FOR CAPT. COOK HEIGHTS
From Stanley A. Nakamae, Director of Finance,
dated July 6, 1973, informing that they have
sufficient funds to redeem Bond No. 1 for the
subject improvement district and submits for
adoption Resolution 85 to authorize the Director
of _"inance to' call for payment in accordance with
Section 5.5 or Ordinance 350.
Approve and recommend adoption
of Resolution 85.
7o® 365: ABANDONMENT RESOLUTION & QUITCLAIM DEED FOR A
PORTION OF POHOIKI ROAD PUNA (TMK: 1-3-OB.:.711
From Edward Harada, Chief Engineer, dated July 5,
1973 , submitting the quitclaim used an abandonment
resolution for a portion of Pohoiki Road abutted
on both sides by the Lanipuna Gardens Subdivision,
%�lnich subdivision approval was granted on condition
that the existing road be realigned and an 80-foot
right-of-way dedicated to the County of Hawaii.
Informs that the documents have been reviewed and
approved by the Corporation Counsel' s office and
submits for consideration, approval and authoriza-
tion for execution of the deed by the Mayor.
Approve and recommend adoption of
Resolution 86 to abandon the road
remnant; and grant authorization to
he Mayor to execute the quitclaim
deed®
