Waldstein dated January 15, 1973, informing that for lack of 75 to 100 yards of road . work to open Laehala Street from Keokea Loop Road, to the entrance of Machida Lane which is the only legal access to the entire Onekahaka Subdivision, ' the occupants are forced to trespass continuously upon privately owned property and are deprived of • U. S . mail deliveries to their homes. Requests legal ingress and egress to Machida Lane and Road by improving and hard topping that portion of Laehala Street : Refer to the Chief Engineer for his disposition to remedy the situation. a„ C -=2ti.2•a/vcuca7? 367 .2: PARKING STALLS - MARPESSA APARTMENT PROJECT From Raymond H. Suefuji, Planning Director, dated September 12, 1973, submitting information relative to the possibility of requiring forty additional parking stalls for the Marpessa Apartment project : Receive and file . Boshard, Pastor, Mokuaikaua Church, dated July 16, 1973, requesting permission to rebuild their stone wall extending three feet behind and directly in front of their church property as the wall originally was built . The extension sits upon the embankment which is approximately 1-1/2 feet above the level of the roadway: 3$3 .1: From Edward Harada, Chief Engineer, dated September 6, 1973, informing that they have no objection to the Council granting permission to reconstruct the stone wall, subject to the five conditions, as listed : Approve request to reconstruct the stone wall, subject to the five conditions, as listed in the Chief Engineer's letter. Am, GL _ No . 44$: CONCERNS - ANTONE FERNANDEZ From Council Chairman Yamada dated September 5, 1973, submitting the following comments of Antone Fernandez : (2) Opposed the practice of spraying chemicals on the roadside in residential areas by the Public Works and Parks & Recreation Departments: Refer to the appropriate County departments and ask that they communicate with Mr. Fernandez to resolve his concerns. (4) Requested that the County return the property which he sold on Kinoole Street (TMK: 2-2-22-23 ) because improvements have not been made as promised: Refer to the administration for a reply to Mr. Fernandez . (5 ) Objected to garbage cans and trucks delivering garbage not being covered : Receive and file ; and inform Mr. Fernandez that the litter ordinance requires that all PWC-la - 3 - Sept . 19, 1973 No . 448 vehicles transporting loads (cont . ) of litter shall be covered and if he cites violators of any provision of this ordinance, that the police department be notified . <Ace.e- !s,0r°w6_ pp RECOMMENDATION ,, .
