Copy of letter to United States Senator Edmund S.
Muskie from Mayor Shunichi Kimura dated March 19,
1974, presenting testimony on behalf of the County
of Hawaii on the matter of secondary sewage treat-
ment required under the Federal Water Pollution
Control Act amendments of 1972 (PL 92-500) .

Copy of letter to Mayor Shunichi Kimura from Sunao
Kido, Chairman and Member of the Board of Land and
Natural Resources, dated March 28, 1974, informing
that at its meeting of March 22, 1974, the Board
approved of and voted to recommend to the Governor
issuance of an executive order placing portions of
Parcels 2 and 7 of Tax Map 2-3-20 under the
management and control of the County of Hawaii
as an addition to the County's Veterans Cemetery.

From Mayor Shunichi Kimura dated April 3, 1974, submitting
a petition requesting the County Council to establish
low cost spay and neuter clinics submitted to his office
by Mrs. Marietta Austen. Suggests that this be submitted
to the Hawaii Island Humane Society and the Administration
for comments and suggestions.
