RE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12-129, WHICH
AUTHORIZED THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT FOR A STATE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL REVOLVING
FUND LOAN FOR WASTEWATER PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
AND AUTHORIZED THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING QUALIFIED WASTEWATER PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
Attached is Bill No. 9, Draft 2, an ordinance that amends Ordinance No. 12-129, which
authorized the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmental agreement for a State Water Pollution
Control Revolving Fund Loan for wastewater public improvement projects and authorized the
issuance of General Obligation Bonds for the purpose of financing qualified wastewater public
improvements of the County of Hawai`i.
"Exhibit A, Draft 3" of Bill No. 9 was verbally amended by the Committee on Finance on
February 7, 2017, to correct typographical errors by inserting a dollar sign and removing
brackets so that "[8,622,000]" is corrected to "$8,622,000."
