Nakamae, Director of Finance, dated May 31, 1974 requesting approval of the resolution to transfer $30,000 from G-9100.6 (Earthquake Emergency Fund ) to G-9100.6.1 (Repairs to Parks Damaged by High Seas) to repair and restore sea walls at Kahaluu Beach Park, Pahoehoe Beach Park and Milolii Beach Park: Approve and recommend adoption of 9�� Resolution 235. No. $60: CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE PROJECTS BY COUNTY FORCES From Edward Harada, Chief Engineer, dated May 31, 1974, requesting Council approval to permit the Department of Public Works, through its own forces, to accomplish those CIP projects included in Ordinance 5$6, as amended, and the CIP ordinance for FY 1974-75 within the $4,000 to $15,000 range and repairs and maintenance projects: Approve request. / C_ No . $63 : BIKE LANES From James Souza, President, Hilo High School Improve- ment and Development Council, dated June 4, 1974, informing that they unanimously supported the sum of $25,000 in the budget for the installation of bike lanes in the County of Hawaii and that they would like to see that amount increased . Suggests that bike lanes be installed on a priority basis on those roads most used by bicycles now and that first priority be those roads leading to Hilo High School: Receive and file; and thank writer for their support .
