SUBJECT: Resolution Amending the Salazv Ordinance of 1996
Attached is a resolution amending Ordinance 96-64, adding a salary schedule for the
position of Fiscal/Program Review Auditor.
Previously the pay grade of the Fiscal/Program Review Auditor was $49,920 annually.
Resolution 140-95 amended the Salary Ordinance of 1995 section 8.01, by reclassifying
the pay grade from the annual Figure to LA-I, with a salary range of $24,000 - 33,780.
The addition of the proposed salary schedule will allow remuneration to range from
$33,780-45,312.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1 (e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the
County of Hawai' i, this written approval is submitted in regards to Resolution No. 1 S ,
amending the Salary Ordinance of 1996, by adding a new salary schedule (LA-III) for
the position of Fiscal/Program Review Auditor. Waiving said referral from the
Committee on Finance in order that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be
granted.
