Hawai`i Island Humane Society
Pursuant to Council Rule No. 2(12)(c), I respectfully request an hour on the Public Safety and
Mass Transit Committee agenda for a discussion with Donna Whitaker, Director of the Hawai`i
Island Humane Society. I will be requesting that she provide information on the agencies'
policies and procedures. Please place this item on the Public Safety and Mass Transit Committee
agenda for its next meeting in Kona on March 21, 2017.
