Meyer, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated April 21, 1975, transmitting as requested an ordinance amending the Traffic Code : Approve and recommend passage of Bill 12$ on first reading. `No .' 1231: SIGN VARIANCE - WAIAKEA RESORT VILLAGE From Bill Kikuchi of The Kikuchi Group dated March 6, 1975 requesting a sign variance on the corner of Kekuanaoa and Mililani Streets to be erected for the Waiakea Resort Village : I - 1231.1: From Raymond Suefuji, Planning Director, dated April 1, 1975, recommending that the sign variance be approved, subject to conditions as listed : Rescind action taken on PWC-50 and approve ofthe sign variance request, subject to conditions as contained in - the Planning Director's letter with the exception of Conditions 3 and 4 . (Messrs. Informs that the estimated cost for the walkway (1100 linear feet ) is $3,700: Approve request to refer to the 1975-76 CIP budget for consideration. e_ No. 1270: DEDICATION DEED - LA HIKINA SUBDIVISION C6-1517 .2--1972) From Assistant Corporation Counsel. Stephen G. Bess dated April 21, 1975, informing that the road improvements have been completed and that the portion of the subdivision that has not yet been dedicated can now be dedicated . (Carpenter/Kawahara) / , GPS.• No . 2 : ABANDONED VEHICLES tpw1 In order to encourage the owner to remove an abandoned vehicle himself so that the County does not incur the initial expense, request the Corporation Counsel to look into the possibility of further amending Bill 12$ to have the known registered owner of an abandoned vehicle be subject to a fine that is assessable for every day the vehicle is deemed abandoned .
