From Councilman Levin dated February 10, 1975, trans-
mitting for information letters regarding the
euthanair decompression chamber.
1179.1: From Ronald Bachman, President of the Hawaii 'Island
Humane Society, - dated February 25, 1975, to Councilman
Levin commenting on the system of euthanasia.

a proposal for the operation of dumpsites and reclamation
and disposal of solid wastes in Hawaii. County for study

1414.1: PROPOSED GRADING BILL 146
From Harold F. Rice, Jr. , FR Quarter Horse Ranch, dated
August 15% 1975, stating the pasture land should be
excluded from the bill as all bulldozing and grading
on the ranch is for conservation purposes.

that agricultural operations are excluded
under Section 1.4(e) of Bill 146.

ORDINANCE
Bill 152: AMENDMENT TO BUILDING CODE
(C-1137.2) From Chief Engineer dated July 24, 1975 submitting for
adoption a proposed amendment to the Building Code to
extend the effective date from June 25, 1975, to ,,
September 25, 1975, for the requirement of provisions
for the handicapped for certain building construction.

Bill 153: ABANDONED VEHICLES

of a specific fine of $25.00 which is designed to
encourage the owner to remove the vehicle himself.
