Matayoshi dated October 1, 1975, informing that he has directed the Director of Finance to institute a review of the contracts with the Hawaii Island Humane Society in order to ascertain if those contracts are being complied with and a detailed report will be submitted on or about October 31, 1975. Receive and file. No. 1570: TRASH COLLECTION - BUS STOPS From Mayor Matayoshi dated September 23, 1975, concurring that placement of waste disposal receptacles at bus stops would be beneficial but placement of containers should be made only after bus routes are permanently established. Receive and file. , , &4; . No. 1571: DEDICATION DEED - KILAU SUBDIVISION PUUALAEA, NORTH HILO From Stephen G. Bess, Assistant Corporation Counsel, dated August 19, 1975, recommending that the dedication deed from Laupahoehoe Sugar Company, dedicating the roadway and water system in the Kilau Subdivision, be accepted by the Council, and submits approvals of the Departments of Public Works and Water Supply. From Katsuya Yamada, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated September 16, 1975, recommending acceptance of the road right-of-way in the subject subdivision, and submits responses from the Departments of Planning, Public Works, and Water Supply. Accept dedication deed. Atte- No. 1582: REQUEST FOR STREET SIGN - PAPAIKOU From Paul T. Mannenl dated September 30, 1975, requesting installation of a street sign at the intersection of Kaieie Road and the Belt Highway. Prigmore,, President, Paradise Park Hui Hanalike, dated October 2, 1975, submitting a letter from the Post Office Department asking the association to correct the bad condition of Paradise Drive within a month or mail delivery service will be discontinued. Refer to administration and request the U.S. Postal Service not to discontinue mail delivery service to Paradise Drive until the situation can be corrected. ,6ef- C - No. 1585: ELECTRICAL CODE (Bill 180) From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated October 1, 1975, submitting for consideration and adoption an ordinance amending Chapter 11 (Electrical Code) of the Hawaii County Code, adopting the 1975 Edition of the National Electrical Code with amendments thereto. Approve and recommend passage of Bill 180 on first reading. Res. 466: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Amends the salary ordinance for the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Trafficj0-kety and Control. Approve and recommend adoption.
