The following are the recommendations of the Public Works Committee
which were considered at its meeting of July 28, 1976.

,LC- No. 1937 : ROADWAY DEDICATION - CENTRAL KONA SHOPPING & BUSINESS
CENTER, HALEKII, SOUTH KONA (TMK: 8-1-03:35 and 43)
From Corporation Counsel Clifford H. F. Lum dated
July 7, 1976 transmitting for acceptance a Dedication
of Roadway deed for the roadway within the subdivi-
sion. Advises the Department of Public Works has
checked the description of the roadway and found it
to be acceptable for dedication; also that the sub-
division roadway has been constructed according to
County of Hawaii standards.
Accept roadway dedication deed.
�No. 1939 : FLOODING PROBLEM IN WAIPIO VALLEY
From RTC Chairman Carpenter dated July 13, 1976 sub-
mitting the Reconnaissance Report on Flood Control-
Waipio Valley, Wailoa River, Hawaii, as conducted by
the U. S. Corps of Engineers. Although the attached
letter is addressed to him, feels the subject matter
more rightfully belongs in PWC.

No. 1940 : ROADWAY DEDICATION - KAMUELA SKYLINE SUBDIVISION
From Corporation Counsel Clifford H. F. Lum dated
July 7, 1976, transmitting for acceptance a Dedication
of Roadway deed for the roadway within the subdivision.
Advises the Department of Public Works has checked
the description of the roadway and found it to be
acceptable for dedication; also that the subdivision
roadway has been constructed according to County of
Hawaii standards.

From Assistant Corporation Counsel Stephen G. Bess
dated July 12, 1976, transmitting for acceptance a
Dedication of Roadway deed for the roadway within
the subdivision. Advises the Department of Public
Works has checked the description of the roadway and
found it to be acceptable for dedication; also that
the subdivision roadway has been constructed according
to County of Hawaii standards.

(Res. 612) From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated July 19, 1976
' transmitting for consideration and adoption a resolu-
tion providing for the acquisition of land by eminent
domain proceedings for the subject project; informs
the proposed resoltion has been reviewed and approved
as to form by the Corporation Counsel.
Approve and recommend passage of
Resolution'.612 ' on first reading.
