COMMUNICATIONS
No. 1967: THE TOM VANCE HIGHWAY
From Councilman William S. Kawahara dated August 6, 1976,
asking the County to look into completing the Tom Vance
Highway to provide better connection between Hilo and
Kona.

Kawahara' s comments made at the Public Works Committee
meeting of August 24. _

KULAIMANO HEIGHTS, UNIT VIII, INCREMENT 2
From Corporation Counsel Clifford H.F. Lum dated
September 9, 1976, informing that Brewer Support Housing,
Inc. , has donated a five-acre parcel of land in Kulaimano
Heights, Unit VIII, Increment 2, to the County of Hawaii
to be used for elderly housing and requests that the
Council accept this donation. '
