The following are the recommendations of the Public Works Committee
which were considered at its meeting of November 10, 1976.

COMMUNICATIONS
�No. 1967. 2 : TOM:: VANCE HIGHWAY
From District Engineer Chas L. Schuster, Highways
Division, State Department of Transportation, dated
October 28, 1976, advising that the "Tom Vance Highway"
is not a part of the State Highway System and there
are no plans for any improvement, extension or com-
pletion of this road; the County public works depart-
ment has ample staff and capability to undertake a
feasibility study of this project should such be desired.

,' ?- No. 2084: FEDERAL CONSTRUCTION GRANTS
(Res. 649, From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated November 1, 1976
650, 651) submitting for review and adoption three proposed reso-
lutions for the Kailua-Kona Sewerage System (Southern
Zone) , Kailua-Kona Sewerage System (Northern Zone) ,
and Central Kona Sewerage System. These resolutions
are required for future applications they will be sub-
mitting to Federal agencies for construction grant
benefits.
Approve and recommend adoption of
Resolutions 649, • 650 and 651.
�No. 2089 : KANOELEHUA DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
From Council Chairman Robert M. Yamada dated October 26,
1976 requesting the PWC work together with the Depart-
ment of Public Works' to expedite completion of the

Amends Ordinance 211, the Capital Budget, by adding
