Todd dated May 9, 1973, requesting reimbursement in the sum of $39 .16 for repairs to his police vehicle due to the defective gas tank at the Hamakua station: The Committee is in accord with the opinion rendered by the Corporation Counsel's Office and authorizes the payment of the claims. • • FC-6 - 4 - June 5, 1973 C- No. 307: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING CONTRACTS - COST ITEMS From Mayor Shunichi Kimura dated May 11, 1973, informing that the collective bargaining law requires that cost items in employee contracts be approved by the legislative bodies of each jurisdiction. To approve the cost items, the following actions must be taken: 1. In fiscal year 1972-73 internal transfers of funds will be made in accordance with Section 10-9 of the County Charter and Section 5 of Ordinance 474 to provide additional funds to departments. No further action by the Council is necessary. 2. Additional costs payable in fiscal year 1973-74 will be authorized upon adoption of the budget for that year. 3 . Additional costs payable in fiscal years 1974-75 and 1975-76 may be authorized by adoption of Resolution 65 (attached) pursuant to Section 10-11 of the Charter: The Committee recommends the approval of the cost items in employee contracts and the adoption of Resolution 65 .
