The following are the recommendations of the Finance Committee
which were considered at its meeting of April 8, 1974:

No. 5 2.6 : FINANCIAL AUDIT OF COUNTY OF HAWAII
From Legislative Auditor R. B. Legaspi, dated April 3,
1974, submitting for disposition the. finalized finan-
cial audit of the County of Hawaii covering the fiscal
year 1972-1973, as submitted by the certified public
accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.
Informs that they have requested and will receive very
shortly an overview of this report from the Office of
the State Legislative Auditor:
The Committee recommends receiving
and filing the communication.
No . 73$: PROFESSIONAL & SCIENTIFIC EMPLOYEES AGREEMENT
From Mayor Shunichi Kimura dated March 11, 1974,
submitting the summary of the agreement on reopeners

Employees. The agreement was formally signed by the
Employers on March 25, 1974:

RESOLUTION
�No. 19$: SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
Amends the Salary Ordinance for the Department of
Finance (Division of Accounts) , Department of Public
Works (Bureau of Sewers and Sanitation) , and Department
of Parks and Recreation (Maintenance Division) :

The Committee recommends adoption
of the resolution.
RECOMMENDATION
, . No . 1: AUDIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1973-1974
In compliance with Section 10-13 of the County Charter
which calls for an independent audit of the financial
and accounting system, the Committee recommends the
appointment of Haskins & Sells to perform audit
services for the County of Hawaii covering fiscal year
1973-1974.
