Civil Defense Agency, dated March 25, 1975, requesting
approval of the updated material for the County of Hawaii's
Plan for Emergency Preparedness, Volume I, Operational
Civil Defense, and Volume II, Emergency Resources Manage-
ment :
Approve updated material for
Volumes I and II of the County
of Hawaii 's Plan for Emergency
Preparedness.
No . 1086 .1: UNIT 11, FIREMEN
From Mayor Matayoshi dated April 2, 1975, submitting
information on cost items as a result of arbitration
hearing for Unit 11, Firemen. Copies of the Memorandum
of Agreement, after execution, will be submitted for
filing :
Approve cost items for Unit 11.

WORKERS
From Mayor Matayoshi dated April 2, 1975, submitting the
summary of the agreement on reopeners and cost data for
Unit 10, Non-Professional Hospital and Ihstitutional
Workers. The employees ratified the agreement on
February 28, 1975 and the formal signing by the employers
was completed :

., No . 1259 : PURCHASE OF SEVEN SEAS BUILDING
BANK OF HAWAII VS . SEVEN SEAS, INC .
From Clifford H. F. Lum, Corporation Counsel, dated
April 15, 1975, requesting authorization to acquire the
Seven Seas Buildings and to appropriate adequate funds
to complete the acquisition. Informs that the adminis-
tration is of the opinion that this acquisition would
enhance the Hoolulu complex immensely and could be used
for parks and recreational purposes plus office space
which is sorely needed at this time :
Approve request and refer to
Director of Finance for funding.

RESOLUTION
No . 374: HELCO'S RATE INCREASES AND REVISED RATE SCHEDULE
(C-1247) Recommends that the Public Utilities Commission deny the •
application of Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc . , for
approval of rate increases and revised rate schedules.

Approve and recommend adoption.
RECOMMENDATION
Ac-. No. 1: INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS
(cTy, Recommend the Council legislatively support the use of
industrial development bonds for utilities (Hawaii Electric
Light Company, Inc . ) plant facilities development .
