Nakamae dated September 29, 1975, requesting authorization to issue shorter-term bond anticipation notes (BAN) in accordance with the provisions of Section 47-2.2, HRS, and Ordinance 139, and transmits for adoption a resolution providing details of such issuance of BAN. Approve and recommend adoption of Resolution 467. �No. 1466: CLAIM - LORNA ANN CARVALHO From Sylvester V. Quitiquit, Cook, Choi & Yuda, Attorneys at Law, dated July 24, 1975, submitting claim on behalf of clients, Lorna Ann Carvalho, a minor, and her parents, John and Doris Carvalho, for injuries and damages suffered by Lorna Ann when she was repeatedly struck by Terry Bondaug on a school bus operated by Antonio Aguinaldo under contract with the County and State. Said incident occured on or about 7 a.m. on March 14, 1975. 1ee, c_ 1466.1: From Earl T. Nakasato, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated September 22 , 1975, recommending denial of the claim. Matayoshi dated October 1, 1975, informing that he has directed the Director of Finance to comply with the request to have the responsible departments and agencies submit a status report on Federally funded projects and programs as listed in C-1536. Receive and file. /No. 1559: REAL PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT From Robert S. Fujiyama dated September 16, 1975, on behalf of his brothers, himself and spouses, inquiring why their property taxes for 1975-76 has risen from $495.64 to $1,629.48. / . C- 1559.1: From Sanford Y. Yanagi, District Tax Administrator, Hawaii District Office, dated October 2 , 1975, advising that the primary reason for the increase is that the subject parcel has been subdivided into eight lots for 1975-76 with all of the on site improvements installed, and valuation was based on sales of comparable properties. Also presents a brief summary of the department's assessing practices pursuant to Hawaii' s Real Property Tax Law. Receive and file; and transmit copy of C-1559.1 to Mr. Fujiyama for his information. ,6„ C- No. 1576: ADDITIONAL FUNDS - PALANI ROAD IMPROVEMENT & SPENCER (Bill 179) PARK IMPROVEMENTS From Director of Finance Stanley A.
